Hi everyone, I hope you’re all okay and not melting too much in this hot weather we have been having.
I've a little concern and I’m one more pain away from going to see my doctor but I wondered if anyone else may have had similar...
I had my gallbladder removed in 2002 when I was 22 (yes, even my doctor told me that was young!) and ever since I got the occasional phantom pain from where it once was, and by occasional I mean a few a year, if that!
I had a radical hysterectomy in March and have recovered well after radiotherapy, almost back to a normal again. But the past couple of weeks I’ve had increasingly more phantom pains from what was the gallbladder area and they are increasing in intensity. They only last a few minutes and then gone.
i was wondering if anyone has experienced similar after a hysterectomy without their gallbladder?
if I get bad pains again in the next few days I will book to see my doctor for sure but I’m guessing I’ll be told it’s diet related.
any clues please?
thanks xx
Hi Chellby, sorry to hear about your pain, I think its possible to get pains from all the internal healing that's still going on, plus the possibility of adhesions, I know I was told a lot of the random pains I am getting is because of the healing and I am two year post op but do have other health issues that complicate the issue, however as a precaution perhaps its a good idea to speak with your Doctor just in case its something else.
Hope you get answers very soon.
