Leucocytes in Urine

I had my pre op assessment today, I had my unrine tested and it came upp with large amounts of leucocytes, no blood. Probably not a urine infection I have been told. 

I asked if this could be because my immune system is trying to fight the cancer, they couldnt answer me. Has anyone had this before please??

  • Hi I noticed you hadn’t had any replies to your post. I’m sorry I can’t answer your question as I’ve no experience of this. Have you spoken to the nurses on the helpline at all? They might be able to shed some light on this for you. Hope you’re ok x
