Sorry- another question! Did anyone diagnosed with early stage cancer experience overwhelming tiredness as a symptom prior to diagnosis?
Thanks, Smully
Hi, I was quite tired, but I was also extremely anaemia because of constant heavy bleeding, so tiredness was almost certainly a result of that. And of course, the heavy bleeding could have had a different cause....in my case I had very similar symptoms several years earlier caused by fibroids.
I was extremely tired but then I work full time and am also a carer so I wasn't sure if it was the pace of life of the cancer. Before I had the hysterectomy Lucozade and glucose tablets were a part of my life, not constantly but at the times I felt completely drained. It only gives you a short term burst of energy but It was enough to get me through work.
Hi Generally I felt very well in the run up to diagnosis. I'd had a few occasions when I felt very tired but I'd put this down to stress at work and not sleeping too well. I'd deliberately lost some weight but in retrospect maybe the weight came off quicker than I'd expected. Other than that I looked fit and well x
