I have just found out my CT Scan is tomorrow, this will tell me what Stage my cancer is. I spoke to my Clinical Nurse Specialist, she was amazing. She arranged the appointment, my question is? My consultant is on holiday this week. My scan is tomorrow and the Multi Disciplinary Team meeting is on Thursday afternoon. Do you think my case could be discussed and a treatment programme drawn up by another consultant? if not it is another week before it will be discussed again. I was going to speak to my CNS and ask her if this is possible.

Has anyone ever done this?

i have had same problem. I would not worry. When they have these meetings. All the scans and cases are discussed jointly and the decision will be taken jointly. Your consultant will get all the details of his patients. I been told by my daughter who is a consultant that your consultant junior will be making notes as well. I would not worry too much. Nothing is missed and he will get the detailed report.

My case was discussed in two hospitals because it was complicated. I was not happy with my local hospital and my care was transferred to another hospital. I had a very rough Time.

I am hoping I get discussed this Thursday and get a date for surgery soon...I see the Clinical Nurse Specialist tomorrow so I will ask her about the process.
