I decided to start a thread for any arts and crafts you do and want to share. I know I post in others but I just wanted to share how much its helping to calm my mind and would definitly recommend everyone having a go. You don't have to be prefect just happy with your own achievement. Its Daloni that actually gave me this idea for a thread with her wonderful things she makes. So here is our very own girls.
My latest project...
I have done the shading but I think I may add some colour maybe watercolor not totally decided yet.
Fairycake, the matinee coats are adorable. Your daughters friend will love them I'm sure. That's the joy of knitting..You can be sure they will be unique as there is such a choice of wool around now. I love the little coat with the tassel effect at the bottom. God bless, enjoy the weekend. Love lamb.xx
Lovely crochet Daloni. The blue and yellow whorls remind me of Starry Night (Van Gogh)!
Thank you, . It’s so kind of you to say that. I’m quite overwhelmed. Your prayers are very welcome and I shall sleep tonight thinking of them, and of the many others that I know come my way.
Fairycake those tiny teeny matinee jackets are just lovely. I can picture the wee baby in them now.
And LittleRunner Van Gogh, eh? I’m honoured. I had thought to do another one based on a night sky. This one went to my niece’s new mother in law - it was her wedding last weekend. She loved it.
xx
Beautiful! No wonder Noodle is barred from being near it. You amaze me with your wonderful creations x
Lol no wonder your daughter keeps it well away from Noodle , it looks a very warm but light blanket. It amazes me all your ideas and you definitely must have a lot of talent to make these wonderful knitted and crochet designs, all the ideas for design. I agree your wrap was like a starry sky like your blanket a flower bed, blossoming in the sunshine.
I have been painting again before Christmas these were both presents on for a friends birthday the other for Christmas for another friend. Both are oil paintings.
Ah, at last I've uploaded a brighter picture!!! This was given to me at Christmas by my 9 year old grand daughter, and I've thoroughly enjoyed painting it, although think I've overdone the colour a bit! I'm not sure where to put it !!!
Gbear, how do you get grass looking as realistic as that? Nice to hear from you. I was thinking about you the other day.
