I thought that it would good for us to have a regular place to share the positive things, however small, in our lives. Whenever you all share positive tales, I know that I for one feel better, so I thought it might benefit others too. So, if you need a little reminder that joy can be found even on the darkest days, this is the place.
The rule is simply to list three good things that you have experienced, or will experience, today. The idea is to focus on the present rather than worrying about the future or dwelling on negative thoughts. If you are struggling through something hard remembering what you have that is good can really support you. Everyone is different, and there is no wrong answer, and nothing too insignificant to mention. Everything positive counts!
My husband has a new recipe book and he's planning on cooking lots of meals from it already - it looks like we'll be eating very well! He was just reading the short list and it made me very happy hearing his plans.
There are spring bulbs beginning to bloom in the garden along with violets and clouds forget me not. It's always good to see that once they are in the right conditions, plants just get on with it!
I am seeing my friend tomorrow for cake. I assume that no explanation is required for this one!
Three good things:
I've  had lovely "just because"phone conversations with both my daughters today.
My line dried washing smells so fresh and clean.
I'm finally making progress with the little cardigan I'm knitting for a friend's niece.Â
Hope today is a good day for all of you
My three good things:
I went to the Hammersmith today to give a lecture, and oh it felt good to be there as something other than a patient.
When I got home the window cleaner had been, so I have lovely shiny windows (well on the outside anyway) to let in the spring sunshine.Â
And now I'm enjoying sitting down and just relaxing.
My three good things
My daughter is coming home today and I'm so excited I can't sleep. It's going to be wedding chat and sticky buns.
I've got my new car and it's on a four year contract. FOUR YEARS! Is this wishful thinking?
I won a raffle prize last night. Chocolates.....Yum Yum!
I have the flat to myself this evening, so am planning a quiet night in with lots of good things. Here are the headliners:
Long soak in a candle lit bath
I am planning on having a big salad with my favourite - Halloumi (and no one to share it with!)
Something chocolate-based for dessert
Three good things for today:
Enjoyed catching up with friends over tea and cake (lemon drizzle, yum!)Â
I was given a bunch of yellow tulips - beautiful and a lovely surprise!
Really pleased I managed to walk up the local steep hill without having to stop to catch my breath for the first time in months - long may it continue!Â
Unknown said:My three good things for today was went to hospital to get a ear bud stuck in my ear out been in for days, happy job done can hear again.

My three things.Â
I had a lovely walk in the Ashdown Forest today with husband, daughter and friends, rounded off with a pint of cider in a 15th century pub.Â
I made a delicious frittata for dinner with broad beans, mint leaves and feta.Â
Next up it's choir.Â
Xx
Hi Daloni,
Glad you had a nice walk in Ashdown forest , your dinner sounds lovely, yum yum. Hope you have a nice time at choir practice tonight.
I afraid I was a very silly person using a ear bud to clean my ear,
Have a nice evening
Love me xxx
We used to live near the Ashdown forest, I used to work on reception in the Ashdown forest hotel, but that was a long time ago, beautiful though.
