I thought that it would good for us to have a regular place to share the positive things, however small, in our lives. Whenever you all share positive tales, I know that I for one feel better, so I thought it might benefit others too. So, if you need a little reminder that joy can be found even on the darkest days, this is the place.
The rule is simply to list three good things that you have experienced, or will experience, today. The idea is to focus on the present rather than worrying about the future or dwelling on negative thoughts. If you are struggling through something hard remembering what you have that is good can really support you. Everyone is different, and there is no wrong answer, and nothing too insignificant to mention. Everything positive counts!
Yes Katsil, Ive accepted your friend request. x
I am at my mum's, sitting in the garden, listening to the neighbours chatting (mostly sheep to be honest!)
A lifelong friend popped round this morning for tea. She happened to be not working and we had a lovely couple of hours.
I am beginning to get enquiries for work once more and it no longer frightens me! ( I am self employed ) That is a big positive step for me.

My 3 things for today
I live across the way from a little woods where I can let my beautiful jack Russel, pippa, run free. We went for a walk this morning and she chases birds and ducks (is that bad? She can't get them) and squirrels with her little stumpy rail wagging.
I'm so lucky to live there because our last house was next to the motorway slip road
I have my beautiful daughter around to help me. Today I'm at the hospital with my husband and I can rely on my daughter to collect my youngest from school and bring him home instead of him being farmed out to friends.
Tonight I will be watching my youngest son in his nativity play. He is the narrator and has a massive part.
I know I should only have 3 but I haven't mentioned my middle son. He's 15 and not a day goes past without him making me laugh x
I know what you mean,I do find it difficult to get the thought of cancer out of my mind,
My 3 things yesterday were going to my son amd daughter in laws and helping to get them ready for the caravan holiday with their 4 young sons.
Getting a big hug and kiss from the youngest , he was 2 last week.
Sitting in the garden with my husband having a glass of wine in the sun and appreciating how lucky I am.
Will do this every day from now on. Thanks.
Excellent idea...
My 3 things are; our youngest son passed his Diploma recently, our eldest son seems to be going into recovery from severe depression and psychosis, and hubby's chemo is holding the progression of his cancer steady ... Â All in all a happy time with thesun shining too :-)
My day today!
My niece is 6 today and this evening will be spent with my family celebrating.
This lunchtime my husband and I (he has Bowel cancer) are meeting for lunch just because we can.
The sun is shining and the countryside around me is spectacular.
Enjoy, live, love and laugh
X
My three good things:
The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day.
Went to Borough Market with a very good friend, stocked up on some gourmet treats and had a lovely tapas lunch and s good gossip.
I'm home now sitting in front of a fan cooling off!
My three good things:
Went out for breakfast to a local farm shop, delicious food and chance to chat with hubby.
Food all prepared for BBQ this evening....I can watch others doing the cooking.
Eldest son is arriving soon, not seen him for a while.

My three good things.........
Went to the Scottish airshow today. What a fantastic day! I'm not that interested in planes but wow, the skill of these pilots!Â
We had our 20 month old grandson with us who kept us entertained all day
Got chips and cheese for tea before we left! Yumm! It also saved me cooking and that's always a good thing
Happy Sunday everyone and I hope the sun shines for you all
I visited Lyme Park yesterday. Beautiful house and grounds. Sunshine.
Had an impromptu evening with my sister and brother in law. We played Humbug, which is the most hilarious board game ever made.
My 3 teenagers joined in and it was fabulous to see them abandon dignity and laugh their heads off.
