I had my hysterectomy on 22nd September, and have just come back from my follow up appointment to discuss my results. The cancer was grade two, and hadn't spread to anywhere else. So no further treatment needed. I am incredibly relieved and grateful. I don't think it's fully sunk in yet, as radiotherapy had been discussed at my previous appointments, and I was fully expecting this to be the next step.
I want to thank all the lovely ladies on this forum who have advised and supported me through the past several weeks. All the advice and kindness have made such a difference. Sending love and best wishes to all those who are still undergoing treatment.
That's great news- really pleased for you
