Hi ladies, hope all is well with you.
I had hysterectomy 3 weeks ago tomorrow, results expected 4-6 weeks they said. However the hospital called and gave me an appointment for today, so quick, so I went along with my 2 daughters to see my oncology gynecologist, he gave me the best news ever, I am now Cancer Free! Before my hysterectomy they said I was Stage 1, grade 2, but when results came back from lab, it was confirmed at Stage 1 grade 1, lymph nodes clear! Tumour was contained in the uterus! I cannot yet quite believe it, I feel so incredibly lucky, and the care I got from the hospital (Edinburgh) was absolutely amazing! They all looked after me so well, were all really lovely, I cannot fault the care I got since I started my journey. I'm hoping my good news will give hope to those on a similar journey. Its a club no-one wants to join, but it's definitely one that makes you realise your mortality but also makes you appreciate life, love, the support I had from family and friends and from you girls too!
Great news- really pleased for you
