Hello ladies,
Jumped on here as I am feeling very in the dark about what is happening. I have recently had an NHS ultrasound that showed possible endometrial hyperplasia and was referred to gynecologist as urgent for a biopsy. After 2 weeks and no word I called the hospital who told me I was on a 12 week list. My GP said this might happen after the scans were reviwed but it seemed such a long wait so have managed to secure a private appointment 3 weeks on Thursday. I guess I'm just wondering from others who gave been through this how it has all been, and how they kept calm? I am in a lot of discomfort so it's hard to 'put it to the back of my mind' and I've also been having other investigations over the past few years to do with gastro stuff so I'm now worried something has been missed. I had a ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound this time round and nothing suspicious (despite the hyperplasia) was detected. I just can't help goggling things every 2 mins and it's driving me mad!
