Hi everyone

Well where do I start, the fish thing was a bleed in December 2025

Hysteroscopy January 2026

Removal of a fibriod which they found in 2018 after my menopause, polyp and a biopsy

February 2026 diagnosed with endometrial cancer

Aril the 8th 2026 full hysterectomy

Then had nercrosis of the abdominal wall

ct scan 10th of April all is ok no spread of the cancer

June 4th Ct scan ready for chemo

June the 6th started bleeding, went into hospital, given a trans vaginal scan

My oncolgy doctor on the ward pulled me to one side in private to tell me that there was a mass in my virgina and there was nodules on my lung in shock

Went to see my oncolgy doctor yesterday 12th june and she as now told me my cancer is treatable not curable, devastated beyond believe, frightened and angry

I have got to have 6 cycles of 2 chemos and immunotherapy, still dont know if I will still be a live in months to come

So in 8 weeks from having a hysterectomy hoping that this will get rid of my cancer its turned out worse the i thought

Well all I can do is go through with all the treatment and hope for the best

I also asked has it gone to mu bladder or bowel and the ongolgy doctor said it is close

So let's see what happens

  • So sorry to read this too.
I’m currently half way through my treatment for recurrent endometrial cancer (serous carcinoma) having had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy last year which was initially successful. I was always told it was aggressive and I knew it was likely to return though recurring after 7 months was a big shock and to signs consent forms for palliative care rather than curative was very frightening.

Mine has returned in the Omentum and they are treating me with Carboplatin, Paclitaxel and the immunotherapy Dostarlimab. My oncologist explained that the treatment is relatively new and came out of research called the Ruby Trial in 2023. I am having 6 cycles of all 3 drugs given every 3 weeks then the Dostarlimab will continue every 6 weeks after that for up to 3 years.

So far I’m coping quite well with the side effects and from what I’ve read this particular regimen has been successful in extending the lives of those of us with advanced disease.

Please know we are all here for you if you have questions or just want support and a hug

  • Thank you, that is the chemo I start on Tuesday, I just feel as though I have been given a life sentence, plus the new pain i have in my side that iam now worring about, the  bleeding is getting me down too, the ongolgy Doctor did say that the bleeding should stop when i start my chemo, what is worrying me is the ongolgy doctor as said its close to my bladder and bowel

After having the hysterectomy I just had in my head it will be chemo and radiotherapy, I had a hysteroscopy before the hysterectomy which my doctor told me it was endometrial cancer, it wasn't until the biopsy after the hysterectomy I got stage 3 b now because after a scan I have nodules on my lung  and a mass in the virgina its now stage 4 incurable I had a scan 8 weeks ago and all was fine, I had another scan last Thursday the cancer had spread in 8 weeks

So devastated and broken Broken heart
