Good morning.
Out of interest for those on Dostarlimab how long have you been told that you will be receiving it? Were you given number of cycles, or length of time or in my case no time frame but would be stopped if you had unmanageable side effects or progression?
Just a by the way. I have been on it over 2 years, done really well, with very little problems.
My oncologist has started tp say it may be time to stop soon so terrified as I like having it!! My comfort blanket!
Your thoughts/comments much appreciated!
I was told from the start mine was 2 years and I discussed it with the oncologist yesterdayApparently it can do a lot of damage to your body if it is continued. It has already given me diabetes whh is a pain but at least I am still here! If you had said that to me 3 years ago when I was diagnosed I wouldn't have believed you. It's been a long old journey with lots of ups a d downs- Chemo did
t work for me so ime on immunotherapy and it is keeping my cancer stable so long may it last
