Combination Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy

I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis of womb cancer. 

I had chemotherapy in 2022. 

I did not have immunotherapy. 

There are a few ladies on here currently undergoing chemo and also some that are having immunotherapy. I am not sure if any of them are having the combination treatment.

It might be an idea to have a look at the immunotherapy thread on here to see if anyone is having the same treatment. There can be different types of chemo and immunotherapy so sometimes regimes and experiences can very.

Hi Patron. I am about to “celebrate” my 1 year anniversary of my surgery. I went on to receive chemo/immunotherapy 6 rounds at 3 week intervals. I am now on 6 weekly rounds of immunotherapy as maiIntenance. I have Lynch Syndrome (MSH 6). I used the cold cap . I found the chemo/immunotherapy ok, not a walk in the park, but the side effects were manageable. The immunotherapy is a walk in the Park in comparison (at the minute - can change as longer taking it) I was Stage 4. I was told after op they had got it all out, but later PET scan found this was not the case. At my mid-way scan there was no evidence of the cancer. Scans have remained clear and I feel great. My oncologist is very positive about prognosis. I have stayed off groups mostly up to now as I have been scared “pride would come before a fall”. Hopefully my experience helps a bit.
