Hi folks, just sending an update as I had my appointment with consultant today following my scans. Really good news is that it hadn’t spread beyond womb lining, it’s Grade3 Level 1 endometrial cancer. I will have hysterectomy in next 4-6 weeks and then most likely radiotherapy, depending on histology.
I cannot put into words how your support has helped me get through the last 4 weeks since diagnosis. the whole situation and my mental health has really been a challenge, but all your suggestions, kindness and advice has got me through. You were right about knowing the plan and how that helps. I know there’s still a lot to face but I feel I can do it. Xx
Great news that you are provisionally stage 1.
I was also grade 3, stage 1. Doing ok 3 years post treatment.
Not too long to wait for the op and we are here in the meantime.
Jane
