Hello, I had my surgery on Thursday. Everything was taken ive felt ok since lots of wind but no nasty menupausesymptomsas yet. Today I am v v emotional. The 2 surgeons who done the procedure came rd yesterday at diff times and told me they are both v pleased at how it went and v much believe my cancer is now gone and was so early hrt will def be an option i wont need any follow up. I cant quite believe it. I am a v happy woman but I am also absolutely terrified to believe them.
Hi Toty81
I am glad your surgery went as planned.
It is very normal to feel emotional once the surgery is done. You have been through a scary diagnosis, had big surgery and are recovering from the anaesthetic etc. Rest up at home today and take things easy.
Perhaps give the Support Line a call if it would help to talk things through.

They wouldnt say it unless it was true. Natural to feel emotional, just try to relax and recover. No lifting!
I’ve also just had a hysterectomy last Monday 5th (kept ovaries due to age). Will have a follow up appt in the next 2/3 weeks to confirm the initial stage 1a/grade 1 diagnosis. Hope you’ve got lots of support at home and are taking it easy! Take lots of care x
