Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone here has had stereotatic radiotherapy for a pelvic recurrence of endometrial cancer. I am due to meet a specialist Dr next week, with a view to having it for my 3rd recurrence.
Any advice on what to expect would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Leeanne
Hi Leanne
I am sorry to hear that you have had a recurrence of your cancer.
Here is some general info that may be helpful.
Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) | Macmillan Cancer Support
I also did a search on the online community for posts where stereotactic radiotherapy is mentioned.

Hopefully someone may come along who has had the treatment and offer some advice but in the meantime you could call the Support Line and speak to one of the nurses about the treatment. You could also post in the Ask a Nurse section, although a reply may take up to 3 working days.
I hope that your appointment goes well next week.
Jane
Thanks Jane you really are a great support. I have been told that I won't be able to have the stereotatic radiotherapy which is really disappointing. My bowel is covering the cancerous lymph node, and due to having lots of radiotherapy 18 months ago, the dose permitted is too small to be effective.
Waiting to hear what palliative options are suitable
Best
Leeanne
