Hi there
I'm 7 months post treatment for high risk stage 2 uterine. I had chemo, radiotherapy and brachy. I still have a low white blood cell count, 2.8, low lymphacites and slightly low red blood cells but higher red cell distribution width. I have discussed with my consultant and she is going to speak to haematology.
Any body else have experience of persistent blood test results like this please?
Thanks
Hi AL75
I did have problems with my bloods for some time before they recovered.
My CNS said it was normal to take time for them to slowly return to normal. You have done the right thing in discussing it with your consultant and hopefully haematology will be able to offer some support.
