Hi. I was diagnosed with Womb Cancer back in 2024. I had an operation in December, and started Chemotherapy in February, I had 6 sessions which didn't work. In August I started Immunotherapy but have had constant issues with it since starting. After a treatment it could be 10 days, a week or even 3 days and then i have constant diarrhoea. Has anyone had the same issues

  • Hi. I am not under immunotherapy but my husband is. He is now in his 2nd year, every 6 weeks and it’s like Groundhog Day. He is always tired a few days after, by the 2nd week, terrible diarrhoea. It eases off as the weeks progress and is no longer quite so prolonged.

  • I had a hysterectomy last June for womb cancer but it had spread to 2 nodes in my pelvis and 1 on my lung.I started chemotherapy in Sept but finished in Nov as it was not working. I have been on immunotherapy since Dec 31st - 3 weekly at first and now 6 weekly. I can honestly say it it great- I do get tired but that us the only side effect I have, It  wont cure me but is keeping my cancer at bay thank goodness. I am living with Cancer not dying with it and I will take that. We are leading a relatively normal life apart from the hospital visits but that's a small price to pay. I Wish you tge best of luck with your journey.

  • Thank you for this I’ve just rejoined 2022i had triple  neg breast cancer successfully treated

2024 I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and it was decided only a hysterectomy was needed however this year it’s returned with a vengeance chemo therapy worked well but will always be there I  finished course August 12th

I’m now in a terrible state because i know it’s  growing again my symptoms of abdominal and back pain are horrible

I’ve just had a scan and have a consultant appointment on Wednesday

I’ve had to ask about immunotherapy and I’m worried they haven’t suggested it

I’m going to really push for it at my appointment and it’s really good to hear it’s holding yours at bay and not horrific
