Hi had a hysterectomy because of womb cancer last week got up quickly last night and started spotting is it normal
Hi
This can happen sometimes- as long as it’s just a bit of spotting, not too heavy and not painful. However to be on the safe side I would recommend giving the hospital a quick call. There should be a number on the discharge paperwork. Just so they are aware and can offer you some reassurance.

Hello jane2511 at the moment no more spotting I'm just sitting down not moving and I'm not in pain
I didn't have any spotting at all but some ladies do, particularly if they over do things. On your discharge paperwork there should be a section with bleeding/spotting mentioned and what to do and a number to call if you are concerned.
You are also welcome to give the Macmillan support line a call and talk to one of the nurses for advice.
