Just diagnosed

Hi there. I know how you feel. I was also Grade 3, stage 1. After my hysteroscopy and diagnosis I had to wait nearly 2 months for a hysterectomy. I was so worried waiting that I went to have a private consultation with a specialist (even though I could never have afforded a private operation). He said waiting a few weeks would make no difference, even with the more 'aggressive' grade. I hope it all goes well for you.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. You could try calling your gynaecologist's secretary to see what's happening with regard to the surgery.

Thank you I will do that. I was told I would hear something very soon, so I'm going to try to wait until the end of the week and try to ring all of the numbers I have .

Just a thought - if you leave it till Friday, you may well not get a reply then till next week as whoever you call may then need to call you back. I’d suggest phoning tomorrow or Thursday and then you might possibly hear on Friday.
