Hi Everyone , just thought I’d let you know I had my hysterectomy on Thursday morning and came home in the evening, doing really well , but can’t believe how tired I am sleeping on and off all day , other than that I’m good. Lisa

I am pleased that you are doing well after your surgery.
I also felt really tired for the first week or two. I think apart from the physical effects, the anaesthetic etc , there was the emotional effect. We tend to go from symptoms to diagnosis to treatment so quickly and it can be a bit of a whirlwind. The relief of having the op over after the build up was also a factor.
