Hey so I’m 2 weeks post keyhole surgery to remove my ovaries and also address some pretty bad adhesions. Recovery isn’t going swimmingly and today after a GP appt penicillin 4 x day for a week! I a
o had a really heavy bleed and passed a pretty big clot! Since then the bleed has settled thank goodness! This is my second surgery in 2years. My first was an open abdominal total hysterectomy withallopian tubes, ovaries left. Diagnosis was stage 1 endometrial cancer. Im just feeling deflated and frustrated almost stepping backwards. I’m awaiting the pathology of the new removed organs and hing that they are clear of anything untoward! Trying to keep incisions clean and aired is really tricky especially in the heat! Also the incoming medically induced menopause Anyway that’s my moan I guess Thankyou for reading!! Xx

I’m getting my replies muddled and now realise that you’re waiting for post surgery biopsy results, not biopsy results that will determine whether surgery is required.
Still thinking about you and hoping for a positive outcome.

Results are back and all is benign 
not really sure how to react but I feel like I can breathe knowing after 2 ops and now everything has been removed it’s clear x x Thankyou so much everyone! Now to remember than I’m still healing

Yes, it’s a strange feeling isn’t it? I thought I’d be uber excited but, instead, it was like a quiet calmness washed over me.
I do remember going out for a walk later in the day. It was raining but I just couldn’t help grinning at everyone I met and cheerily commenting, “Lovely day!”
I’m sure they must have been thinking, “Who on Earth let her out by herself?”
