Hello,
Has anyone been or asked to go abroad during their immunotherapy?
If yes, how did it go? Any back up advice from your team given and most importantly did you have reasonable holiday insurance?
I have been on Dostarlimab for over 15 months and would love to have a non UK break!
Hi CathyB welcome to the forum and sorry that you have not had a response as yet. I feel sure someone will be along soon with further info for you..Maybe the best people to ask about this are your treatment team or you could give the Macmillan Line a call on 08088080000 and speak to one of the Nurses there. I can imagine that having a nice non uk holiday would be pretty blissful for you and I hope that you are able to get something sorted when you have checked this out. Gail
Thanks for your reply.
I hope to go away in September so can't get insurance as yet unless it's in a 2 month window before going away. I will speak to my team closer to going then will only book it if they say I'm fit to go. It's a question as part of the holiday insurance that you have full medical support.
I just wondered in hope if anyone had been away abroad and had experience of support etc
