Hi all, I realise there is no definite answer about recovery and fatigue but has anyone been able to enjoy a holiday within 2 to 3 months of six sessions of chemo ending, or am I being too optimistic? I have friends in Paris I would love to visit in October and last chemo on 29 July ( followed by 3 brackytherapy in August ).
Thank you
Hi Beepeep
I've been away in this country during treatment. I am currently in the chair having my last treatment and we have a holiday booked on 12th June, I'm going come hell or high water as we've already cancelled 2 trips abroad since I was diagnosed last July.
We will also be going to France in our motorhome and our thinking is that we can be home fairly swiftly if needed.
