My radiotherapy finished on 26th March and I’ve just noticed a couple of small brownish mole-like marks just below my old c-section bikini scar. Has anyone else noticed new marks after the radiotherapy in the pelvic region?
was at the chemo clinic today and the consultant seems to think it’s harmless Seborrheic Keratoses but they are going to keep an eye on it anyhow. I’d never heard of this before.
Not sure if it’s similar, but I had radiotherapy after breast cancer and the whole area became very discoloured and it appeared to have lots of new freckles. I can remember feeling a bit panicky about it, but was reassured by the radiologists that it was radiation damage to the skin and should eventually go. Over several months, the skin peeled and the new skin looked healthy again. The only thing I still have issues with is my nipple which still regularly peels, and that is after over eight years.
Hi there I finished radiotherapy on 19th March and have got similar marks, they do look like sunburn and in the last few days my skin has started to peel in my pelvic area too
