I am about to start on this drug for an advanced cancer after having a a hysterectomy for cancer last year.

I wondered if anyone else had experience of this and how it went. Thanks

  • Hi Km71

I am sorry to hear about your cancer. I have popped a couple of links below.

The first one is a link to the Immunotherapy section on the forum that may be worth having a look at.

The second link is some information about the treatment.

  • Hi Km71

    1. I've been on Dostarlimab for 14 months and have never had any major side effects. In the first few months when it was 3 weekly I would feel chilled sometimes after my evening meal but now it's every 6 weeks and literally feel physically normal!

The only traumas are the CT scans and the scanxiety wait but so far all the  3 scans I have had since starting Dostarlimab  have shown an excellent response.

    Good luck

  • Thank you for your reassuring reply. It makes it much easier hearing from someone who has been down the same path.

I hope that you continue to feel well and the treatment continues to work for you.

The scans are just one of these things we will have to put up with I suppose, but I know how you feel!

    Best wishes. K.
