Week after diagnosis Oncology nurse rang this afternoon with news that MRI shows no spread beyond womb . Likely Stage 1A , so case goes to team meeting on Tuesday and then date for hysterectomy . So things are moving forward and I am feeling more positive.
I am still bleeding lightly and intermittently since hysteroscopy and polyp removal 10 days ago , is that normal ?
Hi Rethead
That's good news that it seems to be confined to the womb.
I was told that I may have a small amount of bleeding after my biopsy for a couple of days. She said anything that meant I needed to change a pad after an hour meant I had to be seen. Any bleeding I had resolved within 24 hours.
Have you got a letter or anything with a number on for the oncology nurse team that did the hysteroscopy/ polyp removal? I would be inclined to give them a call for some reassurance.
Jane
