I have my rradical hysterectomy with lymph modes today and they have now told me I need a biopsy for some nodules showing up on CT scan. Anyone had this?
Hi Tangle123
I can understand your worry when you are told something unexpected.
It sounds like they are being really thorough, which is a good thing and it would be normal to double check anything that crops up on a CT. Lung nodules can be from infections, scar tissue etc. Maybe have a chat about them when you get the opportunity.
I hope that your surgery goes well today and that you are soon back on the ward recovering.

Hi Tangle123
I too was told I had a nodule on my right lung, spotted after a CT scan, however they have said it is likely benign, I have not had any further checks on this. If I have scans that show it has changed I think they will look further into it, it is a bit worrying though!
I had a hysterectomy completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy, in June this year, I am still waiting for a check up as I thought I would have had a one by now!
Good luck to you with everything x
