Chemo toenail, any ideas?

Hi. My chemo nurse recommended dark nail varnish (not gel) to prevent loss or misshapen nails. I started chemo 3 weeks ago and painted my toe nails beforehand. Early days for me but so far, so good. Hope this is helpful. ️

Also use an acetone free nail varnish remover

My sister is having chemo for breast cancer and has used O.P.I nail strengthener . She is nearly at the end of her treatment and it has been really good. She’s only had a little bit of flaking and chipping.

Thanks for your advice. I have had 3 treatments so far and 4 of my toenails are discoloured. Wish I had known about the nail varnish!

I used nail nectar from Tropic. It's something I use any way and although I did have some dryness and flakiness, I did think it actually helped.
