Sorry you had this experience - did you tell them? Sounds to me like anxiety or maybe a blood pressure or other issue from laying down.

Sorry to hear this - that must have been awful.

Just a thought:

When I have to lie flat I feel like I can't breathe properly. It's a legacy of Long Covid, so I have to really focus on my breathing and staying calm. 

Also had you not long eaten? Lying flat after eating can make you feel unwell too.

At least it's over and now you can relax.

Oh that sounds scary ! Did it subside ? Did they stop it ? I am going on Thursday for an app with treatment dr and going to be having 3 sessions. Everyone I’ve spoken to at gyny groups said they didn’t feel a thing but bit worried now x

 EndoCanc in the days following my hysteroscopy (under general anaesthetic) I had this experience and when I spoke to my GP about a week after, she mentioned cervical vasovagal shock, sounds like it could be the same happening for you. 

Shirleydana, I had 2 x brachy back in 2022 and it was a breeze. I preferred brachy over radio tbh. Much simpler and quicker. My treatment lasted 6 mins - just over two songs on the radio!

Yes, I told them. Wasn’t anxiety as I was very relaxed and listening to a talk radio station thinking ‘This is easy!’ Not blood pressure related as mine is under control with medication. 

Hi, I’d eaten two hours previous. I’ve got two more sessions coming up, hence a little worried. 

Hi, just to reassure you there was absolutely no pain and nor was it uncomfortable. Everyone is different of course and so what one person feels may not be the same as another. I’ve two more sessions to go, hope it doesn’t happen again.
