Hi I have now been updated after MDT and informed its good news that I don’t need chemo or radiotherapy but only brachytherapy as the P53 mutation is less than 5% !! She said it’s all round good news and after worrying since they rang me on Tuesday, she did say I am being referred to further tests for MMR gene so not sure about this yet and said could be genetic link there. I feel so much better now I know still a long way to go but feel more hopeful xxx
Hi Shirleydana
I am pleased for you that you don't need chemo or radiotherapy.
You have a plan of treatment now - onwards and upwards.
Wishing you all the best.
