Waiting after scans

I had a CT on the Friday and a follow up to discuss the results on the Monday 10 days after I think, but I had already had cancer confirmed, they were wanting to use the CT to look at whether it was confined to the uterus and to look at the lymph nodes. 

I waited exactly 6 weeks  it was hell

For me only three days as I had my MRI and X Ray on the Tuesday and my MDT meet on a Friday and the results just happened to be back in time for that. I’d suggest a phone call to your consultant’s secretary asking her for an idea of when you will hear. She should at least be able to tell you what day of the week your MDT meet.

Oh no! My pre surgery appointment is this Weds so I'm hoping to hear soon (or not if it's bad news!)

Last time they phoned after a meeting it was a Tuesday, so maybe they will call tomorrow? Thank you, I will call if I don't hear back soon.
