I'm going for the results of my biopsy tomorrow following a hysteroscopy on the 02/02.
It was a challenging procedure because they couldn't get the camera up far enough due to a stenosed cervix.
This was as a result of a cone biopsy some years ago due to precancerous cells.
The Transvaginal Ultrasound measured the lining of my uterus at 28mmx0.9mm and don't know what it should be postmenopausal with bleeding at 68 years of age.
If they'd been able to complete the Hysteroscopy it would have shown if I had a polyp, which they would have removed during it.
The doctor told me if no further treatment was needed as a result of the biopsy they. would write to me.
The fact that they've made an appointment at the Gynaecology Outpatients leads me to think further treatment is required.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
I had a call last week saying the blood test was negative but apparently they say it could still be Lynch as the immunohistochemistry markers from the tumour suggest that, so I have been referred onto the geneticist to do more investigations apparently, who knows how long that will take .
I am trying to take the negative blood results as good news.
Good luck tomorrow
