Does anyone know if the guidelines for starting radiotherapy are within 12 weeks of hysterectomy?

I think I read that on this forum. Mine didn't start until 14 weeks post total hysterectomy.

My oncologist told me that that was the case and mine started 11 weeks post op. 

I was anxious that mine started at 14 weeks to be honest. Can't change it. It is what it is.

I hear you KT89. My oncologist apologised for mine being almost right up to the line.
