Does anyone have any experience with Filgrastim? I have to inject from tomorrow for 5 days. Any side effects?
Thanks.
Hi Hop5
Not sure if you have seen this but it explains it well.

When you are having chemo it can reduce your white blood cells and can sometimes lead to neutropenia.
Filgstrim to to try protect against this. I had neutropenia during chemo and it means that you can pick up infections quickly and that they can become serious quickly.

Hi. Yes a few aches and pains around my hands and knees. I also had fatigue x
Thanks Jane, did you have side effects from the injections? My friend's dad had extreme fatigue. I am just wondering if I should give work the heads up. I am working from home as isolating due to not wanting to pick up infection but if I am that tired might not be able to work. Thanks so much for the link, I will take a look x
Hi Hop
They didn't offer me the injection but it was mentioned after I became neutropenic. I was then given a blood transfusion as there were other issues with my blood. The transfusion seemed to sort things.
