Just wondered if anyone could help from their own experiences.I had a hysteroscopy and biopsy 9dys ago I am still getting some spotting of watery blood and tummy feels crampy today. Is this normal?how long could it go on for?
Hi Daisy
I remember having heavy bleeding for around the first 24 hours and then not a lot. Just a bit of spotting. I did have some watery blood/crampy feelings for a couple of weeks but not sure how much was down to the biopsy or the actual cancer. My journey started with a heavy bleed and then over the next 4 weeks it became more watery with blood in it. It was not every day- just on and off. It would be difficult to say what caused what.
Best thing to do is if it continues or causes you any concern to either give the hospital a call or even your GP and ask for some reassurance.
Jane
I had bleeding for at least a fortnight after a couple of my hysteroscopies so I wouldn’t worry about it too much (although I did the first time too)
Should stop soon x
