Hi all,
I have had my telephone oncology review today. I was told that nodules and lymph nodes are unchanged but that there was a pelvic bone irregularity. The CT showed that there had been a fracture, which was healing due to treatment (chemo and radio). I also asked for a time prognosis, which I have never asked for before. Dr D told me 2-3 years but obviously this could be extended with further treatment. I could have chemo again.......and the real reason I'm telling you all this is that he told me that there is a new treatment for endometrial cancer, it was supposed to be approved by NICE yesterday but has been delayed until May. Clinical trials are going on now. This is good news for us as a group.
Lots of love and more hope,
A x
Hello Sistermoon
Good news about the possible new treatment/clinical trials.
Hope that the fracture has not been too uncomfortable
