I'm not entirly sure if im asking anything here but feel the need to get it out because it is just going round and round in my head.

You can read my bio for a more indepth version of events.

Resons not to cure so far have been:

too young, too childless, not had enough sex, vagina too small, too fat and now it's that I don't eat enough.

How long can you stay on Medroxyprogesterone Acetate if it's giving you high blood pressure and almost daily migraines? Yes the team are aware of these side effects and I was told "'we'll worry about them when they enter stroke territory readings"

How do you ask for a second opion if you feel standard of care so far has been poor when you've been seen by 9 differnt consultants who all give a different reason not to cure my cancer?

Am i being medcially gaslit? Or is it all in my head? Am i the problem?

    Hi Hupomone,

Dear me, what a carry on for you. I would say there are too many professionals involved in your care which results in no clear course of action. I would suggest collecting together all your hospital letters and contacting PALS at your local hospital (patient liaison service). They will help you try and get some answers and guide you further.

I wish you all the best in trying to find a way forward,

    A x

  • I have a lever arch file of all my appointment letters, plus symptom diary, food diary and daily blood pressure readings.

Unfortunately PALS doesn't exist in Northern Ireland there doesn't seem to be any equivalent either.

Sorry to hear that. I would see my GP and see what they say. I would think they may need to monitor your blood pressure and how long you need to be on that medication.
