Hello ladies
just had my hysteroscopy where the consultant said he could not see a polyp and there was nothing concerning. He showed me the screen and it just looked like candy floss, white and fluffy (3 weeks post ablation). He took a number of biopsies. Different consultant to tiesday, this one said he was concerned about my abdominal distension and wants an urgent ct.

Hi Aimee
I think it’s sensible that the consultant has suggested a Ct scan, as this will give more information. Hopefully you won’t have long to wait for it-let us know how you get on. I hope your pain levels are improving now-it’s very wearing to live with pain all the time.

It’s good they are being thorough. I didn’t look at the screen when I was having my hysteroscopy, so sorry-no experience to share with this.

Yes. I had the white fluffy "candy floss" which looked like it swayed a lot with the water they pumped in. I've had a hysteroscopy twice by two different consultants and neither seem bothered by this at all. After polyp removal consultant returned my biopsy to the Path Lab twice as he was so surprised by my Polyp results so I think if this had been a signal of something wrong he wouldn't have done that even if he hadn't let on to me. When I was prepping for this I looked at some YouTube videos and saw the same on those examples.
Hi, yes that’s exactly what mine was like. He said there was no polyp there and took some biopsies. I had an ablation 3 weeks ago & presumed that would have cleared anything within the uterine cavity. Did you have a biopsy of the endometrium too ? What was the outcome for you ?
