It's no good me trying to get to talk to my GP as they don't this now days, they will say go online
Thanks
Linda
Hi Pixie, I’d advise you to call your CNS team in the morning. They’re the best people to tell. They can also request any checks you may need.
Hi Pixie, have you had a CT scan or ultrasound scan undertaken recently on your ovaries? Are your ovaries OK?
What you are describing is very similar to me. Unfortunately my profile/bio was deleted recently during the recent site upgrade and I need to enter all my details again when I find time.
I would definitely request a CT scan on your ovaries/abdominal area or at the very least another internal ultrasound. November is not recent enough due to what you are experiencing.
Surely you have had some more recent scans or are you due to have a scan on Friday?
What is the surgery you are due to have too?
Wishing you the best with your pre-op and surgery.
Hi Pixie
I think its good advice to call your CSN team who will give you the best advice and put your mind at rest.
I have been like this myself since i started bleeding on the 26th Jan, it just feels like period cramp pains and pain in the small of my back. Sometimes there is a lot of blood which can be alarming.
When i went for my hysteroscopy I was given some Norethisterone medication and told it will stop the bleeding and help with the pain which it does.
I started on 3 a day and was told to try and knock it down to 1 a day which worked for the first month or so but just recently I am back up to 3 a day and still bleeding on accessions, mainly at night so i feel its getting worse.
I checked with my consultant and he said that he was happy that i'm still taking the Norethisterone if it helps. I found a hot water bottle and paracetamol helps me also.
Take care pixie2uk
Hi Linda. As the other have said contact your CNS. If you're still bleeding heavily go to your A&E department.
I hope it stops soon.

Hi Sarah16 thanks for you advise the bleeding has really calmed down today. I spoke to my CSN, she thinks by what I was telling her I might have a bad water infection they are going to check me out tomorrow. I'm going to have a hysterectomy but got to have lots of tests because I'm obese they were saying when you have a hysterectomy they tip you up, so I'm going to be put to sleep for about 10min and they will tip me up to see how my breathing is. Not ,looking forward to that xx
