Yes I’ve got my own pants back on!!

Well finally after my robotic surgery on 7 December my swelling and soreness has gone down enough for me to put my usual size knickers and my leggings on today. I still haven’t had my histology results but I have being trying to focus my efforts on getting as fit and well as I can to face whatever comes next. I have certainly been up and down with my emotions but being able to get back to walking and being out in the fresh air again is really helping me-we even had a little bit of blue sky and sunshine yesterday. What a lovely post! Well done, so glad you are recovering so well. Yes, that feeling when I could comfortably put my jeans back on was really great. I am sorry that you are still waiting for your results, such a very difficult time - hopefully not much longer to wait now. We have grey skies here - a bit of sunshine makes all the difference. Hi Walkinglady Good to hear you're out of your Bridget Jones! Mind you I found the full brief so comfortable I stuck to them after.

Your histology results will come soon enough so concentrate on healing and getting fit. I find being out in the fresh air helps me no end. I was back to 2/3 mile walks within 3 weeks. Yesterday we did our normal walk and a Barn Owl flew down the path in front of us. I burst into tears - daft bat!!

Yes the weather has been dire but today there's a bit of blue sky about. (I've till got an excuse not to have to wipe the dog's feet haha!
