Hello
I have posted my question (in the link above that has hopefully worked) on the ovarian cancer page/forum as that is the reason for receiving the Carboplatin however if anybody on this forum could answer my query I'd be very grateful.
Thank you
Hi Sarah16. I started chemo Paclitaxel and Carboplatin on 6th December. About 3 days later felt the tingling in my hands but my feet really ached. Reminded me when I had Plantar Fasciitis. The aching feet went after about day 10 but the tingling in the hands have persisted, not to the extent that I can't do buttons up, but I'm aware of it.
I'm attaching a link about Peripheral neuropathy you might find helpful. There are various ways of managing it. the dosage of chemo could be adjusted and pain killers can be prescribed. Sometime the nerve damage may be permanent but usually it goes off (fingers crossed!)
Hope that helps, hugs, Barb xx
