I had my CT scans almost 2 weeks ago and went to the Christie for the results today. I was awake from 4am and feeling quite nervous. My scientist daughter came with me which helped. The CT showed an abnormal area but they think it is probably scar tissue. I have to go for an MRI hopefully in a couple of weeks then back for the results two weeks later. I must admit I was disappointed that the scans hadn't been clear. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go back for three months.
Hi Deborino. We never seem to get out of the waiting game do we? Now you've got to waiting for the MRI date then again for those results - it never ends! Just think one day they'll have instant results like "Bones" in the Star trek films, sadly not for us just yet. Our whole calendar for me and hubby at the 'mo is Hospital.......Consultants.......- I'm fed up with it! Still best date is 19/11 date for hubby's hip replacement YAY! Can't come soon enough!
Try not to overthink things and stay positive!
Big hugs, Barb xx
