Hi all
Four weeks today since my hysterectomy/ lymph node removal. It’s been up and down recovery wise not to mention a readmission with an infection. Pathology back and I’m stage 1b, Grade 3 so will need further treatment. All set to see the oncologist on 30/8 to find out my plan.
Feeling well aside from a few aches and pains but not requiring any medication for over a week now.
Im doing almost everything again except for lifting/ hoovering and driving so feeling pretty positive about things. Back out walking every day at a decent pace and managing 6-7000 steps per day.

Hi Katl1. Except for your re-admission due to an infection it's good to hear that you're healing well and just a few aches and pains - how's the bruising with the anti-clotting injections? Well done for the 6-7000 steps daily. I did the same kept walking and healed quickly. I managed to get away with not hoovering for ages LOL.
I was also stage 1b, grade 3 with no LVSI and lymph nodes=0. I had 3 sessions of Brachytherapy 6 weeks after op (first day I'd driven - had to go on my own) Sessions Thursday, Tuesday and Thursday. Not painful, just undignified!
Good luck for 30/8 if I'm not back on the forum by then, come back and let us know how your consultation with the Oncologist goes.
Big hugs, Barb x
