Dear All
I hope you are all well
As you know I’ve been on this forum for a few months because my mummy is battling a recurrence of endometrial which has spread to her pelvic lymph nodes and para ortic lymph nodes.
she’s completed 6 cycles of chemo and today received her scan results. I’m extremely pleased to say that the chemo seems to have worked! The lymph nodes have shrunk to a normal size and we are so relieved
Mums continuing on the immunotherapy trial for two years and I’m desperately hoping the chemo has literally killed the nasty buggers and the chemo will help keep it all at bay indefinitely…
i just wanted to share this news with you all to give hope to anyone in a similar position. There is hope and our doctors /nurses / researchers do such an invaluable job in keeping us all going. Where would we be without them? Above all I’m thankful to god for his/her kindness .
Last but definitely not least I want to thank you all for holding my hand, giving me hope and words of encouragement I COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU. I have a young family, demanding job (very caring husband thank goodness
)and am the eldest of three daughters so naturally feel I have to put on a brave front for my parents and sisters… I can’t put into words how useful this forum and your comforting words have been to me and have kept me going … I googled like crazy often resulting in sleepless night and tears and thank you Barbs and Little Lamb for tactfully telling me not to google! You were so right xx
i will stay on the forum so that I can keep you all updated and share info
Love to you all xxxxx
Lovely to hear from you Lamb. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you. Wish I could give you a big hug but I’ll send you a virtual hug instead xxx
thank you for your lovely wishes. You’ve been so kind and have helped put me together when I’ve been low xx
mum is continuing on the trail for two years. I’m desperately hoping it enough to keep the horrid buggers at bay permanently xx
i look forward to hearing from you again. Please take care. Keep being you Little Lamb. You keep us going !!! Lots of love and even more good wishes xxxxxx
