I wrote the other day that I didn't have cancer after all. Well apparently I do. I had a phone call from the consultant telling me that I had several fibroids which were clear but the suspect one is leiomyosarcoma which is quite rare. They are sure that it has been completely removed but I still need to be seen by a consultant at the Christie hospital and have a chest CT. I'm still reeling in shock.
Deb
Oh Deb, my love, you must totally be in shock, I do feel for you. That's the ups and downs of this roller-coaster ride.
It might be good for you to have a look at Soft Tissue Sarcoma which will give you information on Leiomyosarcoma and you can join the group there for support. I've tagged the Champ, src60 to advise you might be joining.
Come back and let us know how things progress.
Sending hugs, Barb xx
