Hi. So I got the news I had endometrial cancer on 2nd November at the age of 31. My op was on the 30th then results the 22nd stage 1a grade 2 no follow up required unless I contact them with concerns. My ovaries were kept due to my age abs this terrifies me the thought if it coming back is awful it’s taking over my life every pain is it’s back Ino it’s early days 6 weeks recovery has Bein fast. I don’t even no wat signs of reaccurane to look for! Sorry for the rant one of them days today just carnt cope with it xxx
Xxnataliexx, i am sorry to hear about your worries but even more that you hadn’t been given any guidance for looking for possible signs of possible recurrence. I was told to look out any unexpected bleeding as one to look for but it’s also important to know that the best thing to think about if in any doubt what so ever contact your CNS they would rather be told this to them and to say everything is ok then you worry in silence. Of course you can also speak with your Gp about any concerns too. Don’t need to apologise for the rant i think we have all been there, the worry if recurrence, gets less as time goes by.
sending you gentle hugs

Thanks for reply just hoping as time goes on it get easier I had no symptoms it was found by accident. I think that’s wat making me so anxious and plus the ovaries being still there my surgeon saiif we didn’t feel it was safe we wouldn’t of kept them there are risks in life. Pretty big risk I think
physically I feel good get tired sometimes but mentally it’s constantly on my mind xx
Yes you will get through this. Don’t let cancer define you. Of course you will have worries but now especially it is time to focus on the things that make you happy. Were you not given some booklets. There is a lot of information on this site. It might help to make a list of questions you have and speak to your nurse
Thank you I just find it hard now that I haven’t got it anyone but in my mind it’s still there.i will Wright a list to ask her it’s hard xxx
