Hi, just wondering if you had same stage and grading as me, did you need radiotherapy or chemo soon after surgery, or did cancer return at a later date?

  • Hi

I haven't had the same type of cancer as you but I noticed that you hadn't had any response to your post yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussions list where it'll be more noticeable.

While you're waiting for replies, if you type 'stage 1a grade 3 serous carcinoma' into the search bar in this group you can read previous posts from people with this diagnosis.

    Wishing you all the best

  • Hi Nikki

After biopsy I was thought to be Stage 1A grade 1 but histology after op revealed stage 1B stage 3 serous. I had brachytherapy 6 weeks after op. Thought to be belt and braces solution to prevent recurrence.

PS Who the heck thought up the phrase belt and braces? Grin

  • Hi Barb, thanks for the reply, I guess I'm worried that they've fixed the belt and forgotten the braces given my current symptoms. Anyway the CNS arranged an appointment for this Thursday, did you gKissing heart to speak to your CNS? Kissing heartKissing heart big hugs xx Nikki

  • I'm calling her tomorrow - I think they tend to work clinic hours so been off over the holiday.
