Hello everyone.
I've just had my third appointment with gynae. VIN2 was diagnosed following an extremely painful biopsy. I did ask the doctor at the time to ensure the anaesthesia had kicked in but instead she went ahead and took the biopsy. However, I didn't feel the stitching so I know she obviously hadn't waited that few second or two longer!
I've been prescribed Imiquimob and lidocaine but the hospital weren't able to give me my meds as they were waiting for Imiquimob to come into stock. Since then I've learned that there may be a current shortage. I phoned the pharmacy today and was told they're expecting stocks within the next couple of days.
I do have LS although I'm currently in remission. Whoever knew that the itching was due to precancer!
