Lymp nodes

Yes, I had an operation a few weeks after my vulvectomy to remove 18 lymph nodes from my pelvic area.  I was fitted with suction drains and spent 2 weeks in hospital.  I was then discharged home with both bottles as I was slow draining the lymph fluid.  Both sides  drained within a week.  I still have nerve damage and can't tolerate my usual bikini pants as groin on right (operation) side very tender still. I bought some short type pants which are comfortable.  This was 3 years ago in May.  I was told the nerve damage may go away but may not.  It can be uncomfortable at times but a small price to pay for remission so I treat it as my new normal, I don't believe we ever go back to what we were before so we just have to get on with it.  We women are strong xx

How was you with walking, either short or long. Recovery seems a while off for me, especially going back to work.
